Back to blog posting/September 2022 Bookoplathon Rolls.

Hi, everyone. Sorry it has been over a year since I have posted on here. I have been dealing with a lot of family and body issues.  This month I decided to take part in Becca's Month Long Bookoplathon and actually right up all my rolls. There are two options on how to play the game. I decided to go with rolling as I go since I am slightly more of a mood reader who does better with prompts but doesn't like to have too many picked out before the readathon starts. I usually go with whatever prompt I want first and just chose a book to read for that one then go on. Anyway, here are my rolls for the month of September so far. After every roll from now on I will try edit this post with the new roll and after I finish a book. Roll 1:6 People on the Cover Book: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Pages: 309 Status: Read Rating: 5 stars Roll 2: 4 DOUBLE Dice Roulette; 1 and 1: Under 124 Pages Book: Solving Cold Cases 9 Pages: 85 Status: Read Rating: 2 stars Roll 3: 4 Published or

Hour 8 of 24 hour readathon.

I have finished my first book for my 24 hour readathon. I was almost part way thru it for yesterday. I am one book down and part way thru two others. Not going to bad. Going back to the audiobook for a little while to rest my eyes.

Impromptu 24 Hour Readathon

I have decide to do a 24 hour readathon from 12pm Monday the 19th of July to 12pm Tuesday the 20th of July. I have already been reading for 2 hours listening to the audiobook of the Strange Case of the Alchemist's Daughter while I do some stuff around my house. We will see how this goes. I keep forgetting I am not young anymore lol.

Dewey's 24 Readathon

Tuesday April 20, 2021 Decide to start doing the dewey's 24 readathon board game today. First roll I got a 5 which had me land on read a contemporary. I decided to read the Guest List for this since it is a newer thriller so it is contemporary really. Only 23 pages in so far. Not sure I like many of the characters that have been introduced but maybe after a little more of the book I will make up my mind. I really dislike the bride right now lol. 52 pages in now and the bride is still getting on my nerves lol. The only two people I seem to like so far are the sister and the best friend's wife. I guess we will see if that changes when I read more.  Friday April 23, 2021 Got a little side tracked watching tv. So I am behind on reading the guest list. I did get another 30 mins of reading done while I was waiting to get an MRI. So I am now on page 86.  Saturday April 24, 2021 30 mins until the readathon starts! I have two books to finished that I started earlier in the week. The Gue

Review for the Missing Husband by Alex Coombs

Here is my honest review for The Missing Husband by Alex Coombs: Very fast paced. Another book by this author that read in only a few hours. The plot was very interesting and had me wanting to know what happens. Could have been a little bit longer. Still really love the main character of this series. Thank you Netgalley for the EArc.
